For decades, SNS Outfitter & Guides has been known as the West’s largest Pronghorn Antelope hunting operation. However, in recent years, our Wyoming elk hunting opportunities have been making waves, capturing the attention of hunters nationwide. Whether it’s our 46 years of professional hunting experience, the booming Wyoming elk population, or our recent acquisition of another elk hunting camp, SNS is on its way to becoming one of the top elk outfitters in the West.
With four different elk camps, we are excited to expand our offerings and provide diverse, high-quality Wyoming elk hunts. Each camp has unique features, and we’re here to help you find the perfect hunt for your next adventure.
Our newest wilderness elk camp, formerly operated by Taylor and Hillary Engum, is a hidden gem in Wyoming’s elk area 67—one of the state’s premier general elk units. This traditional wall-tent camp is deep in the Washakie Wilderness, offering a true backcountry hunting experience. The pack-in ride is a relatively easy two hours, yet remote enough to immerse hunters in untouched wilderness.
This fully guided Wyoming elk hunt is listed as Hunt #8 on our website. Limited spots are available for 2024 and 2025, so secure your hunt today.
This hunt is based in one of our most popular mule deer and antelope camps, located in elk area 123 in northeastern Wyoming. With the elk population increasing, we introduced cow elk hunts in 2022, and they quickly became a hunter favorite.
We now offer a management bull hunt, where hunters can harvest a 6-point or smaller bull. This hunt provides a fantastic opportunity for those looking to fill their tag with a solid bull while conserving trophy-class genetics.
This hunt is labeled Hunt #2 on our website. If you have max or close to max elk points, call us today to discuss your options.
For those who want rugged hunting by day and lodge comfort by night, our Box Y Lodge Hunt in the famous Greys River area is the perfect fit. Located in western Wyoming, this hunt features breathtaking mountain landscapes and trophy-class bulls.
Hunters ride horseback into the high country each morning before dawn, returning well after dark. It’s a physically demanding hunt, but one of the most rewarding experiences in the wild Wyoming backcountry.
Camp manager Ralph Hlebak has been guiding in this area since 1979, with 17 years of experience at SNS. His knowledge of the Greys River elk hunting unit is second to none.
This hunt is listed as Hunt #7 on our website. Book early to secure your spot.
Operating for over 35 years, this elk camp is located on a massive working cattle ranch along the southern Bighorn Mountains in limited quota elk area 48. This unit is home to one of the largest elk herds in Wyoming, making it an exceptional choice for both cow elk and trophy bull hunts.
This camp is led by Dave McKnight, one of SNS’s longest-standing employees, with experience dating back to 1982. He and his team will work tirelessly to ensure you have the best elk hunt of your life.
This hunt is listed as Hunt #3 on our website. Spots fill quickly, so call now.
