Trophy Antelope Hunt

Trophy Antelope Hunt

Recognized as our most sought-after antelope hunt, the properties harbor hundreds of antelope, ensuring mature bucks within every herd.

Conducted across our meticulously managed ranches, our Trophy Antelope Hunts boast an abundance of these magnificent creatures, providing nearly continuous action. With an impressive lifetime success rate of 97%, this adventure is a testament to SNS’ commitment to excellence.

Our hunts, whether from camp or town, are designed for maximum excitement. Town-based expeditions, centered in Casper, commence with early breakfasts before venturing into the field with your guide, utilizing 4x4 vehicles. Armed with binoculars and spotting scopes, we meticulously locate and assess pronghorn bucks, planning strategic stalks for a close, ethical harvest.

Bi-level house used during hunting season also shows pictures of the kitchen, dining room and bedroom with two beds.

A Trophy Antelope, defined by a 13-inch horn or longer and a Safari Club International score of 70 or more, is the ultimate goal. Exceeding our minimum standards is common due to our dedicated approach. Given the potential difficulty in drawing trophy hunt areas, enrollment in our preference point program is strongly recommended for optimal hunting opportunities.

Record Book Antelope Hunt

Record Book Antelope Hunt:

Hunters posing with their pronghorn antelope in the prairie of Wyoming

We carefully manage our ranches and limit the number of record book antelope hunts we take every year.

Having outstanding habitat and large numbers of mature bucks is only part of the equation. Antelope are the hardest big game animal to score on the hoof. They may look alike to the average hunter, but not to the seasoned guide. SNS boasts a remarkable lifetime success rate of 97%, often achieving scores over 80 inches SCI.

Utilizing 4x4 vehicles, both hunts involve extensive glassing to spot antelope until your guide identifies the one you have been looking for. The excitement peaks during the strategic stalk, utilizing every inch of terrain to get within range of a record book antelope, defined as one with 14-16 inches of horn length. An antelope qualifies for record book status when it scores in the high 70s and above using the Safari Club International scoring system.

As record book hunt areas may be challenging to draw, enrolling in our preference point program is highly recommended. This premium antelope hunt is perfect for experienced hunters seeking an extraordinary experience. Don’t wait, as spots fill up fast for this top-of-the-line adventure.

DOE ANTELOPE HUNTING:

Doe Antelope are available on some hunts for an additional $350.00 guide service plus license fees.

Doe antelope tags are issued on a draw basis.

RANDOM ANTELOPE APPLICATION:

The demand to hunt Wyoming’s most plentiful big game animal far exceeds the ability to draw a license in our hunt areas that draw with little to no preference points and our hunts in antelope areas that draw with 0-1 point are often sold out a year in advance. However, Wyoming and Montana both offer hunters a chance to draw a license in their random draw. Several of the areas we hunt have outstanding pronghorn populations and the random draw offers a 10-20% chance of drawing an antelope license. If you have been wanting to hunt antelope but do not have any preference points, we are offering to submit an antelope application in the 2024 random draw for you. Here is how it works:

Here is how it works:
  1. Download our BOOKING FORM, fill it out, and return the form along with the appropriate license fees and a $250.00 deposit. Be sure to indicate that you want to be placed in the RANDOM ANTELOPE DRAW and for which state. You can choose to apply for either Wyoming or Montana OR double your chances and apply for BOTH states.
  2. Once the booking form has been received, we will submit an antelope license application to the Wyoming Game and Fish or Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks by their appropriate deadlines.
  3. If you are successful in the draw, hunt dates will be arranged and the remaining 50% hunt deposit will be collected. Wyoming releases draw results mid-June and Montana releases theirs around August 1.
  4. If you are unsuccessful in drawing a random antelope license you will be contacted by our office and offered first-choice hunt dates for the following year. By doing this you will be able to draw with 100% draw odds and secure a spot for the following year. At this time, the remaining 50% hunt deposit will be collected. If you choose not to do this option, we will refund you the license fees and the deposit you paid less the application and processing fees.

Testimonials

It was the best hunt of my life. I will use SNS for all future western hunts.
My guide understood the needs of a novice female bow hunter and set up the blind with the waterhole accordingly.
Excellent experience, should be on every hunters bucket list.
