Trophy Antelope Hunt
Trophy Antelope Hunt
This hunt is conducted on multiple properties that SNS has managed for many years. Our ranches contain hundreds of antelope, and this hunt offers almost nonstop action. It’s clear why this is our most popular antelope hunt. Mature bucks can be found in every herd and we average a 97% lifetime success rate on these hunts.
Trophy Antelope Hunts can take place from either camp or town. Our town hunts take place out of Casper. During your hunt, you will start your day with an early breakfast and head out with your guide using 4x4 vehicles. Once in the field, we use binoculars and spotting scopes to locate and judge the pronghorn bucks in the field. When a good buck is found a stalk is planned. The goal is to get as close as possible for a clean, ethical kill.
We describe a Trophy Antelope as a buck having a 13-inch horn or longer and a Safari Club International score of 70 or more. We hunt hard and most antelope we take will be larger than our minimum standards.
The trophy hunt areas can be harder to draw, so we strongly recommend you enroll in our preference point program.

Record Book Antelope Hunt
Record Book Antelope Hunt:
We carefully manage our ranches and limit the number of record book antelope hunts we take every year. Having outstanding habitat and large numbers of mature bucks is only part of the equation. Antelope are the hardest big game animal to score on the hoof. They may look alike to the average hunter, but not to the seasoned guide. SNS has very experienced antelope guides; in fact, they are some of the very best.
You and your guide will be hunting for antelope that score in the upper 70s to mid-80s. SNS Outfitter & Guides has a lifetime success rate of 97% and we have taken many antelope that scored over 80 inches SCI. We take a limited number of record book antelope hunts and spots fill fast, so don’t wait.
You can hunt record book antelope either from camp or from town. During our camp hunts, after an early breakfast, you’ll head out with your guide to start the day. If you choose a town hunt, your guide will meet you at your motel in the morning. Our hunting areas are not far from town, so there’s no need to worry about long drives to start the day.
We use 4x4 vehicles for both hunts. You can expect to spend a lot of time behind the glass, spotting antelope until your experienced guide finds the one you have been looking for. This is where the fun begins. The stalk is planned and every bit of terrain is used to walk, crawl or do whatever it takes to get you within range of that record book antelope. We define a record book antelope as one with 14-16 inches of horn length. An antelope qualifies for record book status when it scores in the high 70s and above using the Safari Club International scoring system.
The record book hunt areas can be harder to draw, so we strongly recommend you enroll in our preference point program. This is our top-of-the-line antelope hunt and a great choice for those who have hunted antelope before and are trying to find that really special animal.
