1E4A2744

Every year we receive multiple calls from hunters looking for a hunt who have yet to discover that Wyoming is a draw state.

We have to deliver the bad news that it often takes several years to draw a coveted Wyoming big game license. Wyoming's license system can be hard to understand.

Wyoming offers licenses and opportunity for several different species, multiple types of licenses, different draw dates, a two tiered license system and hard to understand hunting regulations. The SNS team can help you navigate the Wyoming system, however, and we do take care of all licensing for our clients.

The first step in your planning should be to understand and start acquiring Wyoming preference points. If you want to hunt big game in Wyoming, preference points are absolutely essential.

SNS Outfitters hunts 18 different Wyoming Antelope Hunt units. These areas vary from needing 1-2 preference points to draw, up to areas that require 16 points to draw. Our Wyoming Elk Hunts will take 4 plus points in order to be in the running for a license draw. Our Mule Deer Hunts and Whitetail Deer Hunts can be drawn with a varying number of points. Not to worry, we are accustomed to assisting you with what it will take to successfully get a license.

The time frame to buy Preference Points is July 1- October 31st. I would also direct you to check out a very good video from our YouTube channel that explains the Wyoming Preference Points system. If you have interest in hunting in Wyoming with SNS Outfitters, do not delay! Sign up for our Preference Points Program today!
