Sy Gilliland is the owner and outfitter of SNS Outfitter & Guides, Wyoming’s largest and most respected hunting operation, specializing in guided hunts for mule deer, whitetail, antelope, and elk. With over four decades of experience in the industry, Sy has established a reputation for providing exceptional hunting experiences while advocating for responsible wildlife management and conservation.

Beyond outfitting, Sy is a dedicated leader in the hunting and outdoor industry. His extensive contributions include:

• Current Chairman of the Professional Outfitters & Guides of America
• President of the Wyoming Outfitters & Guides Association (2020-2022)
• Member of the Wyoming Wildlife Task Force, appointed by Governor Mark Gordon (2020-2022) – A key advisory group tasked with evaluating and recommending changes to wildlife policies, including outfitter licensing and landowner licensing. The task force played a crucial role in shaping regulations to balance fair access for resident and non-resident hunters while ensuring the sustainability of Wyoming’s hunting traditions.
