Still Looking for a 2024 Deer Hunt? SNS has got you covered!
Our Montana Deer Hunt features one of your best options to draw a license and go hunting in 2024. This is a great mule deer hunt, but the property has some fine whitetail hunting as well. We have hunted here for over 25 years and this ranch has a proven track record for producing quality animals.
Ash Holland with guide: Ken Decker
This hunt takes place in November and coincides with the mule deer and whitetail deer rut.
We have scheduled our hunt dates to give you the best shot at experiencing the excitement of a rut hunt. Our hunting style is classic spot and stalk hunting. We traverse the property in trucks or utility task vehicles glassing for feeding mule deer. Once a buck is spotted, we plan the stalk hoping to get within shot range for a clean, ethical shot.

Whitetail hunting on our Montana Deer hunt is best conducted on the ranch’s hayfields. This is an expansive six miles worth of luscious, feeding grounds that the deer frequent at dawn and dusk. Whitetail bucks are busy chasing does so we can usually get close enough to make a good shot. On most years we have a 100% kill rate on quality bucks.

Our hunt area is in southeastern Montana just a short jaunt from Miles City.
This is a hotel or town based hunt for 5-days of really fun deer hunting action.
The Montana licensing system makes drawing a license relatively assured for outfitted clients. Montana limits preference point accumulation to two points per applicant. You can, however, buy a point at the time of the application and it benefits you that year in the draw. A third point can be bought if you have a booked hunt with a Montana outfitter thus giving you 3 points going into the draw. The SNS office takes care of the application process for all of our clients.
