The winner of this year’s giveaway is Mike Legnon from Lafayette, Louisiana. Mike describes himself as a true Cajun, having grown up in a small town in southern Louisiana where he learned to hunt and fish. Mike is now retired after a career in the oil industry.

“As a kid, I grew up hunting waterfowl and I dreamed about hunting out west, reading magazines like Sports Afield,” Mike told us. “I’ve never hunted in Wyoming or any western state beyond Texas, so I’m looking forward to this opportunity.”

Since his retirement, Mike has been able to spend more time hunting and traveling. Mike has made a couple of hunting trips to the Texas hill country and has enjoyed riding his motorcycle across the Mountain West to Sturgis, and down to the Florida Everglades. Mike is married and is proud to have twin sons and a stepdaughter.

As the winner of the Free Hunt Giveaway, Mike will join SNS on a fully guided trophy antelope hunt from one of our camps in central Wyoming. Congratulations, Mike! We are excited to hunt with you.
