Summer Time Grilling Recipe: Elk Kabobs
Get those skewers ready, we’re coming at you with the most delicious, mouth watering, elk kabob recipe. Dice up those elk steaks, hit you local farmers market, and let get this show on the road. But before we get too far into this recipe, you’re going to want to soak your skewers in water for at least on hour prior to beginning the recipe.
Mix all of your olive oil, soy, dry mustard, salt, pepper, wine vinegar, lemon juice, worchestire, parsley flakes and onion salt in a bowl. Now, dice up those elk steaks into medallion sized pieces, and place into your marinade, let sit for minimum of 2 hours. Once meat is marinated place your meat and vegetables on your skewer, grill, and eat. Now, you’re ready for the fourth of July, grilling holidays or just having friends get together.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. Elk Steak
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp. Dry Mustard
- 3/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Pepper
- 2 tsp. Wine Vinegar
- 2 tsp. Lemon Juice
- 4 tsp. Worchestire
- 1 tsp. Parsley Flakes
- 1/4 tsp. Garlic Salt
- 1 Large Onion
- 1 Green Pepper
- 1 Orange Pepper
- 1 Red Pepper
- 1 lb Mushrooms
Once your meat has marinated, place meat and veggies on the soaked skewers. Lastly, grill for about 15 – 20 minutes or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
