We are excited to announce that SNS Outfitter & Guides has acquired a new elk hunting opportunity. In addition to our private land elk hunt and our Greys River elk hunt conducted out of the Box Y Lodge, we will now offer a wilderness elk hunting experience in the Shoshone National Forest. 

In the past, this camp was owned and operated by Todd Jones for 12 years, and for the last 8 years, it has been owned and operated by Taylor and Hillary Engum of East Fork Outfitters. We are currently booking archery and rifle elk hunts for the 2023 season from this camp.

East Fork Outfitters camp is in elk area 67 in Fremont County east of the town of Dubois Wyoming and boasts a very high success rate of 95% for both archery and rifle elk hunting with many trophy class bulls taken. This is a pack-in camp with a two-hour horseback ride into base camp.

During the 2022 fall hunting season, we will be learning the area and sending some of our SNS guides to work during elk season. Our long-time guide and camp manager, David Cardinal, whom many of our clients have had the privilege of hunting with will be managing and acting as lead guide for the East Fork Outfitters camp. David will be working all of September and most of October learning all the ins and outs of hunting out of the East Fork camp.
