Believe it or not, the summer is half over and the 2013 Wyoming hunting seasons will be here before we know it! We have been busy here at SNS Outfitters, and we can’t wait to welcome our first hunters of the season!

Throughout the summer, we’ve been working hard on updates to our camps and performing routine maintenance. In addition to a long-term maintenance plan for each camp, we spend some time each winter putting together an action plan and list of priorities for updates. SNS Guide, Richard Fink takes the lead on these projects.

In addition to work on our camps, we also spend time in the off season meeting with our landowners, renewing leases, and scouting for game – which includes checking water sources, checking for winterkill and overall herd appearance.

Things are looking to be in great shape as we head into the 2013 hunting season here in Wyoming and we can’t wait to get started. Our first group of hunters will be arriving next month. It’s hard to believe that it’s almost here!
