You don’t have to wait until next fall to join us for a hunt in Wyoming. We now have openings for our 2017 spring black bear hunts. This May, you could be at our beautiful Box Y Lodge in western Wyoming, enjoying the perfect spring bear hunting adventure.

This is an idyllic location for a spring black bear hunt. The area produces mostly color-phase bears and the elevation here prevents slipped hides like you see in other places. Additionally, we don’t deal with black flies or other biting insects here in Wyoming.

This is a 5-day hunt with 1 hunter per guide. Your guide will stay with you at the bait site, rather than just dropping you off. This is a very fun hunt and it’s one of the favorites among our hunting guides. With lots of downtime for fishing, hiking or sightseeing, it provides a great balance of a laid-back hunting camp and an exciting hunting experience. With private cabins at the lodge, it’s also a perfect hunt to bring a spouse or non-hunting companion.
