Tim Haberberger and his wife Cindy operate the Box Y lodge for SNS’ spring and fall Wyoming black bear hunts. A bear hunting expert, Tim is constantly working on setting and checking bear baits during the fall and spring hunts.

Earlier this month, Tim was checking one of the baits. Suddenly, a visitor popped out of the woods, only a few yards from Tim. As  Tim knelt down and stayed very still. The bear actually came up and licked his hat before Tim hollered and scared him off.
