A Father-Son Antelope Hunt: A Story from the 2016 Season
We recently had the pleasure of reading a great story written by one of our 2016 hunters and we wanted to share it with the rest of the SNS hunting family. It’s the story of a father-son antelope hunt from this October, written by Dave Allee.
Dave and his father Mark hunted with us earlier this season. It was Dave’s first big game hunt and we were thrilled to be a part of it! Dave had been dreaming about and planning this hunt for a very long time and we are so glad that he chose to hunt with us here in Wyoming.
Dave’s story takes on three parts. In Part 1 he takes us through his planning and preparation for his first antelope hunt and first big game hunt. Part 2 tells the story of his own antelope. And the final part recounts his father Mark’s antelope buck.
Getting to be a part of memories like this is exactly why we do what we do. It’s a privilege having the opportunity to show people this incredible country, the animals and the experience.
Check out all three parts of Dave’s story here:
Thank you Dave and Mark for sharing your story! And we’d like to offer a big thanks to all of our hunters throughout this 2016 season. Once again, it was a pleasure hunting with each of you and you’re the reason we get to do what we do!
