2015 Spring Black Bear Dates Available
If you’ve been thinking about a spring black bear hunt, we are announcing that we have just three spots remaining for the 2015 season! Give us a call ASAP at 307-266-4229 to book one of these remaining spots.
Available Dates:
- May 4th-9th: one opening
- May 18th-23rd: two openings
These limited openings are for our Wyoming spring black bear season. These hunts are over bait, and include six days of hunting. These hunts have a high success rate of 90% or better each year. Additionally, our area produces a very high percentage of color phase bears. Typical bear size runs from 5 feet to 5 3/4 feet, with about 30% of our bears each year being over 6 feet.
On this Wyoming spring bear hunt, we do not have black flies like you see so often in Canada. More importantly, we do not see rubbed hides in this area. All hunts are fully guided using Trucks or ATVs to approach the baits. Hunters can expect to hike ¼ mile to one mile to the bait site. All hunts are rifle only with shots from 60 to 140 yards. Hides are fully prepared to be frozen and taken home, or they may be left with a local taxidermist.
The price of this hunt is $4,295.00. Non-hunters are welcome at $150.00 per day, or $900.00 for the hunt. This is a great hunt for non-hunting guests, as the schedule allows for fishing or sightseeing during the day.
