Every other year, SNS Outfitter & Guides gathers all hunting guides, cooks, camp managers and other staff for our spring planning meetings, first aid training and a banquet to celebrate the season’s memories and accomplishments.

Last weekend, we were excited to host our all-employee event and it proved to be a fun and productive time together. Friday we held our Camp Managers meeting to discuss camp improvements, maintenance and logistics for the 2016 seasons. The SNS Camp Cooks also held a meeting on Friday. This is a great opportunity to go over menu planning, how food is purchased for each of our camps and other logistical items.

Friday evening included a welcome dinner for our guides and staff who came from all over Wyoming and even across the country. One thing that we believe makes SNS special is the dedicated group of individuals who work hard for our clients and who enjoy doing this year after year.

On Saturday, we held an all-day CPR certification training for our hunting guides. While many of our hunting guides are firefighters and already have years of EMT training, we find that it’s important to conduct this training together so that we are on the same page with our emergency response plans.

Finally, we concluded the event on Saturday night with a banquet to celebrate the previous years’ accomplishments and fun memories – and of course, taking advantage of any opportunities to poke a little fun at each other.

We enjoy taking this opportunity every couple of years to get together with all of our staff and their spouses for planning, training and to celebrate doing what we love to do.
