2015 Wyoming Hunting Season is Open
We are excited to have officially kicked off our 2015 Wyoming hunting season! It began with our archery antelope hunters this week. The weather has been pretty warm to start the season, but we’re seeing good numbers of antelope bucks and the herds appear to be in excellent shape thanks to record spring precipitation.
As our spring black bear hunters are well aware, we received a record-breaking amount of rainfall in May. While it made for a very tough bear hunt, there is a positive side. Our big game herds, including antelope, mule deer and elk are in great shape. Thanks to long grass and plenty of moisture, antler growth appears to be excellent as we head into the season. We are hoping to see some big bucks and bulls hit the ground this year! We are also seeing many does with twin fawns, a sure sign of healthy habitat conditions and a great sign for the years to come.
Our first antelope buck of the season was taken earlier this week by Caleb Brubaker from Modesto, CA. Congratulations to Caleb on a great archery antelope! What a great way to begin our Wyoming hunting season.
Our 2015 season is booked solid, but we are currently taking bookings for next year’s 2016 hunts. If you’re interested in a Wyoming antelope hunt with SNS, please give us a call at 307-266-4229. Or you can request a free catalog of our hunts. General information on all of our hunts, including antelope, elk and black bear is available on our website at HuntWyo.com.
If you are coming to hunt with us this year, we look forward to seeing you soon!
