2018 Wyoming High Country Mule Deer Recap

Whoa, the 2018 season continues to impress! It started with our archery antelope success, followed by exciting fall bear hunts, and wrapped up with Greys River mule deer hunts.

Mule Deer

Our hunters worked hard, rode many miles on horseback, and glassed the horizon for an unnoted amount of time. But, their efforts were worth it — our hunters took phenomenal animals this year. The hunters were not alone in their hard-working efforts, though. Our guides also worked around the clock: they scouted for months leading up to the hunts, worked their tails off prepping trails, conditioned the horses, and mounted our hunters on the animals. From pre-dawn to post-dusk, our experienced guides escorted hunters in and out of the Box Y and JHO camps.

Riding through high-country brings exceptional terrain, breathtaking views, as well as technical trail segments. From the images below, notice the quality of the animals that our hunters took as well as those spectacular views — we simply cannot get enough of them! Our team worked hard in the Greys River valley, and they’re already looking forward to serving you next year.

Now, our guides spread out across Wyoming and part of Montana to finish out the season with antelope hunts, mule deer, elk, and whitetail hunts. As always, it’s never too early to start planning for next year! If you’re interested in any of our hunts, contact us today. If you would like a free brochure you can request that by clicking here. As a last reminder, Wyoming preference points must be purchased by the 31st of this month and can be applied to your 2019 draw.
