Join us for top quality hunting for elk, mule deer and antelope at this outstanding property of 100,000 acres in Wyoming, which has been ours for over 20 years. With our mule deer population on the rise due to careful buck harvesting and an elk population of 600-800 head, we are proud to offer the best in multi-species Wyoming hunting on this fine property.
This hunt offers so many options and with each species we have nearly a 100% success rate.
The Mule Deer on this hunt are just incredible in number and size. Your day begins after breakfast and before daylight when you and your experienced guide head out on horseback to spot and stalk your trophy deer. Because of careful management the deer population is on this ranch is increasing and the genetics are great. This hunt can be combined with Elk, or Antelope. The trophy antelope portion of this hunt is done on another ranch first, then you are brought to this ranch for mule deer for a total of 5-days of hunting.
With around 600-800 head of elk and a bull cow ratio of 50/50 finding you elk is not hard. The fun begins when you start stalking them across sage brush bowls. Using horses to cover ground this is a highly successful hunt for either Bull or Cow Elk. This hunt can be combined as a Bull Elk with Mule Deer, Cow Elk with Mule Deer or Bull Elk and Cow Elk with or without Mule Deer.
We do offer a Record Book Antelope hunt on this ranch, but the tags are hard to draw and preference points are needed but there are some real trophies on this ranch if you get the tag. Go to Hunt #1 for the price or call for more information 307-266-4229.
In 2000, we built a new hunting camp for this hunt. Our comfortable camp features a lodge and bunkhouse with two person bedrooms with full bathroom facilities and showers. We highly recommend this hunt for a husband/wife hunting trip. Our camp can be reached by vehicle but we hunt each day from horseback. We located this camp so that your time in the saddle can be tailored to your abilities and still give you an opportunity at a trophy animal.
I rate this hunt's physical requirements from moderate to high because of the horse back riding. The terrain runs from hilly to steep with open sage brush draws to heavy timber. Don't let the horses spook you -- we have had hunters of all ages and abilities be successful on this hunt.
Preference points are recommended to successfully draw this Elk Tag.
